Think Depression-era carney sideshow or a sailor's haunt with a long (and seedy) history. Shelter turned to vintage records covers, images of tattooed ladies and sideshow monkeys, even our imaginings of what a flash fire might do to this kind of dive, to evoke a place that's seen it all and is still here.
